Erm… yea.. so tonight has been quiet, Monday brings on all new sorts of hecticness that I’m not looking forward to, but I’ll deal with it, I always do.. and I’ll smile in the process.. because frowning apparently gives you wrinkles.

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
I haven’t been around much lately, just so much has been going on and at the end of the day, I don’t have much of an attention span to be in game. I was able to pop in this weekend and just sat around having convos with some of my favorite people. Earlier today I was talking with a friend who was having girl problems. Basically a girl was taking advantage of his time and when her EX comes back into town.. she drops him cold turkey to get back with the EX.
So I’m giving him advice on how to handle the situation.. but when it comes down to it. It’s all about YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE! Knowing that you are worth more than someone needing you to make them feel better for a certain amount of time, and knowing exactly what you bring to the table and what a phenomenal person you actually are. I think too many girls see the innocence and good in him and take advantage of it, he showers them with attention and is exactly what they need.. for the moment.
And it makes me angry.. I’m inherently protective of those I call a friend and it makes me wonder, why is it, ESPECIALLY in a realm like SL.. some women who might not necessarily have a great RL.. take it upon themselves to fuck over someone within SL just because they can and have no responsibilities to own up to. UGH! I know it’s not just girls and guys do it also.. and maybe it’s human nature to be bad and do the bad when they think it’s ok and doesn’t matter. IT DOES MATTER…. SL may be a game to some.. but I and most of my friends use it as a way to meet people we wouldn’t necessarily meet in our everyday life and I see it as a messaging program, something like Yahoo or Google Talk. Funny enough, you ALWAYS hear about people wanting to ‘quit’ SL.. but no one really quits Yahoo..or MSN.. or Skype.

It’s good to be able to have my thoughts come rushing out of my head again.

This week has sincerely been an awful week. My RL is so chaotic I barely have time to breathe let alone log into game or even blog. I’ve been popping in to clear my messages and respond to questions mostly and sending quick hellos to friends. Kilolo Jenkins dropped me an offline this morning and I just got a chance to read the When Bloggers Insipire link she sent and the smile has yet to leave my face.
I will never say I have the worlds best style..or the best photoshop skills as I’m still learning. More than half of my posts are done in the wee hours of the morning when my rambling is at its peak of chaotic goodness and I never really know if anyone is actually reading anything and that’s always been ok with me. I started to blog because I truly enjoy SL Fashion and have my own little uncensored space to say anything. So when someone tells you they appreciate you for your voice and words…

when Bella Bombast of Uzuri drops some awesome LOVE on me. I nearly fell over everyone at the show as I got up and rushed home strip down and check out all of Bella’s newness. I first tried on the skins.. and my BUDDHA!! I stood there staring at myself for a good 5 mins because the skin is so gorgeously rich! My favorite are the Indigo eyes (lovers me some blue eyeshadow!) with the natural lips.
One, I’m very much a natural lip girl in rl with only sheer to light pink glosses on my lips (since they already naturally have color), so the Natural lips got me right off the bat, there’s also other lipstick choices ranging from Hot Pink to the nude Peach.
Second, I didn’t have to change my shape!
Third, the skin color is just amazing. Being a woman of color (aka dark ass Asian rofl) in RL, I always appreciate dark skin tones in SL when they’re done correctly. Sometimes I feel like some skin makers don’t take enough care when they go to a color darker than a sun-kissed tan. The makeup just doesn’t look right or the skin color is sorta just ashy and doesn’t have that rich luster I love so much.
So I had to IM Bella and tell her how amazing her newness was and we got into this conversation about making what you love first in SL. I dig her outlook as in.. everything she makes for her store Uzuri, she made because she wanted to wear it herself. So there’s an incredible level of personal care.. because let’s face it, when it comes to our own personal looks, we’re ALL awesomely vain and have the right to be! I do the same thing with blogging. I blog the awesomeness I find, what I’m obsessed with and what I’m rockin while running around the grid that day; it’s all about that love of fashion! Oh! The jacket is all PRIM! YES! There isn’t a clothing layer so you’re able to wear this jacket (consisting of 3 different attachments) with basically damn near everything (yayyy!)
SL Fashion honestly makes me feel like a kid in a candy store, especially when there’s some new kick ass releases that makes me squeal in all sorts of delight and makes me think of a million idea on how to incorporate them into my everyday wardrobe.

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS: I popped into So Many Styles the other day after my girl Nic (aka blogger extraordinaire!) told me about the sale, although I didn’t pick up any sales items, I did buy this cute dress and a few other new releases I hadn’t had a chance to get my hands on! Me + Sales = dangerous, because more than likely I’ll always end up over spending. Today has been uneventful..but I like that, it means less things for me to stress over. I have, however, rediscovered my addiction to the game FROOTCAKE and have forced my cuzzo Token to play with me when I’m online… downside.. the boy is getting good and keeps screwing me over. DAMN YOU TOKEN!

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS: I’ve contemplated for a while what compromising positions I could put Burger in, a few days ago on Flickr, someone by the name of Kissyface favorites one of my pic, so naturally I popped over to her page and check out her stream (yeaa I’m a Flickr ho! I admit it) and all her pics were so gorgeous, I also noticed she did some pictures for a pose shop named WDK. I had never been there before so I popped in to check it out and pick up the GOOD MORNING pose because it was just too cute, plus everything there was so affordable! All couple poses ranged from 50-100Ls with a fat pack of all poses going for less than 300Ls, damn I love me a bargain! Anyhoo, so going on the idea of being woken up in the morning by a yummy man; (seriously.. is there a BETTER way to wake up??) this post honestly naturally wrote itself!
I put Burger in some of the best guy undies in SL, I love men in boxer briefs and Casa Del Shai makes an awesome pair! Burger is convinced that men’s skins on SL just don’t have enough body hair so he put some on.. and I honestly didn’t even know a store of JUST body hair existed! So for you body hair lovers, check out Body Hair Shop. The positions I’m in doesn’t show off how cute the top from SK Designs really is, I’m digging the single nipple slip it has going on. Sergio’s clothes are way cute, the textures are beautiful and everything is so incredibly affordable, plus he’s very sweet! I popped in late one night to pick up the Insomnian top and there was Sergio looking all adorable and we had a quick convo. I love seeing designers in their own stores, gives me a chance to let them know how much of a fan I am of their work, without seeming like a stalkerish chick! LOL!
I had so much fun on this shoot and while Burger and I were on voice, I made an innocent comment about his body hair that I doubt he’ll ever let me forget lol!

Quick post today, I should be snowboarding this weekend, but the amount of rain California has had this past week has ruined any sort of proper conditions. GAH! I was so excited to learn, so instead I’m gonna bum around SL in my snowboarding gear because well.. it’s cold and rainy outside and I don’t want to leave the comforts of my room!

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS: I have no idea what’s going on with me lately. I just can’t sleep, I seem to stay up later and later and when I do sleep, it’s short and never that restful. I think I’m stressin’ way too much and am in need of a proper vacation. A LONG ONE!
So anyhoo, I was poppin’ around the fashion feeds a few days ago and I caught a post from Holli Thespian about these new Abella skins from CandyDoll. I’ve never been to CandyDoll before so I popped in, mostly because the lips on the skin really struck me. It had that very sexy “oooh, I see something shiny” look to it, very pucker pout sexy! I was digging it hardcore and after trying on the demo, I did something I rarely ever do… I changed my eye shape! I lessen the slant on my eyes and made them more squinty/bedroomy to compliment the skin. I actually really dig it. I only picked one up because I personally favor the smokey eyes and semi-natural lipsticks. That POUT! My god.. I’m all sorts of addicted to it!
I’m not gonna lie, I am absolutely guilty of buying clothes and taking weeks, some times months before wearing them. I popped into Urbanity a few weeks ago and picked up these cute jeans when Trixi Wuyts had just released her Le Mini dress. They’re awesomely cute… BUT beware, these badgirls are super low.. like you’d better be rockin’ a Brazilian Wax low! Easy fix? Wear a long tank or shirt like I did… or if you’re brave, rock out with your cooch out! Regardless, they’re friggin sexy like WHOA!

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS: Yayyyy, I finally got my Baby Brother Paolo to do a post with me. He’s got great style and is mad gangster like me! I know I’ve been buggin’ him for a bit to get this done and after too many massive fails from SL, I finally got some kick ass pictures. Isn’t he cute? And yes ladies.. HE IS SINGLE… to quote my friend Syn’s comment yesterday “Paolo is Bub’s brother.. but certainly isn’t little” ROFL.
It’s funny looking at our pic, I’m feel very simple these last few weeks. Barely any jewelry or accessories, maybe I just don’t have the patience to adjust them or my SL is becoming a lot like my RL. I like to dress up and put pieces together but most of the time my jewelry is bare minimal to non-existant save for a pair of kick ass earrings. I’m such an earring fiend. I wanted to thank Liberty Shinn for showing me some blog love! I still think my blog is so new and not many people have seen it yet, but when I get incredibly sweet comments about it (Liberty said she loved my blog.. YAY!) it makes me squeal with all sorts of delight!
The dress I’m sporting is by LP Design, I first discovered it actually though Flickr and popped over to the store immediately. The collection is still on the small side but so many great pieces, I’ve featured a few in my past blog entries. Liberty recently dropped this gorgeous dress on me and I adore it, the details at the bustline and the deep V-shaped back are both beautiful. The jacket I got from Niniko as a part of the Winter Choice 2009 prizes and I am quickly becoming and big Niniko fan. Paolo pulled his look together after I told him to dress as if he was going on a casual date.. something comfy but will impress a girl. I showed these pics to a friend before I posted them and she literally went “that’s Paolo? Damn.. lookin’ good” ROFL. His shirt is from a spot called PixelFashion, I had never been there but popped in to grab an SLurl earlier, really nice store, it’s now on my shopping list to fully check out later. Our shoes btw, are apart of Aoharu’s and Anexx’s huge 50% off sale, a fat pack of 3 colors are only 600Ls! STEAL!
