TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
What.. really Bubbles?? Two weeks in a row you’re on time? Why YES readers, I AM ON TIME for the second week in a row. YEA BUDDY! Had some much-needed SL (and RL) retail therapy this week and I have a few cute things to show off and use, but my budget was limited so I couldn’t get everything or as much as I wanted. That’s ok, I can get them next splurge weekend. I did pick up these fantastic high-waist cropped pants from Fishy Strawberry, I’ve been eyeing them since their release and lucky for me, they also work for this week’s Color Challenge: Wenge.

I was so thrown off by wenge when I first saw it as a color, but after googling it, Wenge is basically a dark wood, (yea!) easy peasy!! It helps when the “fancy” colors have simple meanings! I like this look, its soft, sweet and age appropriate. As in, I’ve been on SL for 5 years now and I feel old and way out of my short dresses that show off my crotch mode! Although, every so often, I still rock those short somethin’ somethin’s! Next week’s color is Mulberry, can’t wait to tackle it, how very sad though, only 3 weeks left to the challenge.

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
Diggin’ the fact that I’m banging out my old color challenges so fast, with this Color Challenge: Brick Red done, I almost officially caught up! I searched for “brick” in my inventory thinking nothing would come up since I don’t really recalling buying much of the ashy dark red color, but this Fishy Strawberry dress appeared and once again, instead of second guessing and possibly looking for something else. I went with it! Speaking of Fishy Strawberry, did you see Fae’s notecard about all their new releases?? I’m squealing with want right now, especially the open cardigan, it will be my fall go-to item. I’m going to fat-pack that bad boy. I’m looking forward to the next color for the 52 WoC, it’s Khaki and so many are going with a safari theme, but Luna has this gorgeous Victoria style dress on her page and I personally already knew what I was going to wear. I hope it works, it’s one of my favorite items in my inventory and I rarely have a place to wear it too, probably why I’m going through the old challenges so quickly, just so I can get to Khaki. Sad.. a bit… hella funny? Hell yea!

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
Jeeze how hard was this week’s Color Challenge: Chartreuse!?? I was seriously wracking my brain, searching different stores and marketplace for that perfect blend of limey green yellow that makes up Chartreuse that also had to be bright and fun. Finally I stumbled on this beautiful jacket I picked up from Decoy in 2009! The color isn’t exactly Chartreuse as it’s more green than yellow, but I rolled with it because I was starting to get a headache! Took a quick picture in my skybox, not even bothering to hit my photo studio for a proper set up, lol, I’m getting lazy. Next week’s color is Liver… liver.. as in livers and onions!? I actually like liver as a protein source but I’m weird like that. I wonder if I have anything of that rusty ashy brown color.. um.. time to scour every inch of my inventory again!

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
So last Friday, I logged into SL and had a quick “OMG!” moment because I didn’t post a Color Challenge yet, usually I do so at the very last minute, Thursday night or Friday morning. It quickly dawned on me that I’d already done my challenge on Sunday and I actually didn’t need to worry about the present week. I laughed at myself for a bit, I’m so not used to being on time let alone early for the challenge that I completely forgotten I did anything! I picked out an outfit for this week’s Color Challenge: Melon and took some pics, wasn’t able to edit or post until today, but that’s a-ok because it’s still early in the week! I think I did ok, going with a casual outfit, plus I love all things by Jane, she has such a great clothing line and all incredibly affordable! The tight by Croire are funky and tie in the color with splashes of others to keep it all interesting. ADORE!!

Next week is Apricot and I’ll admit it, I’m a little scared and have no idea what I’m going to do for it! Don’t get me wrong.. I love apricots.. to eat..but to wear.. errrrrr!!!
