I know this skirt has been all over the feeds and rightly so, its amazingly gorgeous! Even though I picked it up a while and worn it all over the grid, I never blogged it because it’s already been blogged! TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
Winter finally happened. It’s been so cold here lately, in the high 60s. Don’t laugh, that’s chilly cold to me! I’m a Californian, what can I say? It’s not too bad just yet, mostly cold nights but that gives me an excuse to crawl into his bed more often and cuddle. Best heat is always body heat! I’ve been pulling my sweaters and jackets out of storage and layering my clothes in RL and SL. It’s funny how I dress my avi in winter gear when we all know it’s forever 90 degrees in our perfect virtual world. I do love winter fashion, especially scarves. My mom just knitted me the cutest scarf here in RL and I’m actively searching for something similar so I can rock it in-world also.

My break is fast approaching so I’m going to try to post as much as I can this next week.

My ex sends me an email asking to meet for coffee and also announces that he’s engaged. We haven’t spoken or seen each other since our break up almost 1.5 years ago and although I no longer have feelings for him, I feel sad. I don’t understand why, I can’t seem to pinpoint it and I don’t have any reason to be. But I feel it. Hopefully the feeling will go away soon. I don’t want anything to do with him and I stopped crying over him a long time ago, I just wish he’d leave me alone and stop trying so desperately to make up for his cheating and wanting to be a part of my life again. I don’t want him anywhere near my life.

In other news, it’s been a long time since I’ve done a compilation picture. Lately I’ve only done singles, mostly because it’s easy and quick, but I have some time this week so I figured, why not. I do like the look of compilation pictures, esp since my graphic card isn’t the best so my outdoor shots aren’t as pretty!

It was literally a Lazy Sunday for me today, on and offline. I’ve turned my blog from styled outfits and pictures to a “this is what I’m wearing today” type blog. I’ve definitely become more casual as my time in SL goes on. Some days, I log in and barely leave my skybox. Today was one of those days, though there were so many fantastic sales going on, I couldn’t bring myself to fight the lag for the amazing sale at Belleza and Elikatira. I love both stores, though I love a discount, I hate lag more so. I’ll just buy their stuff full price, I do already!

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
Last color of the 52 WoC challenge. One year of my SL blogging was dedicated to this, I’m a bit sad over its ending but extremely proud of myself to have kept at it, done every color, and some of them were on time! Yay!!! I’ve enjoyed the challenge mostly because it exposed me to some of the lesser known (I’m barely known also, so I’m glad to have fresh eyes viewing my little space) bloggers on the grid. I’m attracted to unique styles (and pretty pictures!) and of course there are hundreds of blogs these days, I obviously don’t know them all but I’ve discovered a few through the challenge that quickly became favorites and a daily or weekly read. Though I’ve mostly been quiet, I’ve enjoyed the comradery the challenge gave us all, plus Luna’s style and photography are fantastic, it really gave me something to aspire too!

I thought about going all out for this Color Challenge: Orange post, being that it’s the last color, but in the spirit of Halloween and the love for all things Autumn, what better outfit could I have picked but this Pumpkin dress! I love Miel and almost everything they’ve put out, the face on the pumpkin dress is a moving gif, it basically cycles through some of the cutest faces every 3 seconds! Love my dorky glasses (so much like my RL ones) and the way the teeth look on this skin, its incredibly sexy in a nerdy way.  Yes, I’m a total nerd bomb and damn proud of it!  I’m sad that there are no more colors to look forward to, but excited to start my break soon. The next post will consist of our favorite 15 colors of the challenge, I’m going to have to look through all the pictures and choose, I know I have some definite favorites and more than a few I’ve haphazardly put together.

Luna just announced a second round of 52 Weeks of Color starting January 2012, I’m not sure if I’ll take part right away, I think I’ll see where I am at that point.

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
Week 51, wow, one step closer to the end, I can’t believe I’ve stuck with it this long. My first year-long project and now it’s coming to an end. I don’t think I’ll participate in another year-long challenge again for a while. I wanted to take a break away from blogging after the challenge is over and I still will, since the holidays are coming up, this time of year is always busy with family activities plus I have the little brother’s birthday and that’s always a big (read: EXPENSIVE!!) affair. I think I’ll take part of November and all of December off and come back in January hopefully with a new computer. The christmas (and after christmas!) deals on electronics are always pretty sweet, so I’m going to treat myself to possibly a new laptop or desktop.

I’m suppose to be rambling about this week’s Color Challenge: Cream aren’t I? When I saw the announcement of the color, I knew I wanted to go with a sweater. Winters are drab enough, so I prefer to wear light colors instead of dark dreary ones. I’ve had and worn this sweater by Reek for a while now so naturally I thought of it for this challenge! Though a mini skirt and a tank top isn’t very “wintery” I suppose, unless you live in California like I do, we’re still having 80 degree days and I love it, still haven’t had the need to bring out jackets or sweaters and my furry Eskimo boots are still in storage. I’ve been sporting so much blond hair lately that it’s really nice to wear my dark colors again, especially with this new skin from CandyDoll, swear I’m so in love with Rebeca Dembo’s skins these days! I was lucky enough to come home late Sunday night and grab the skin as a part of Lazy Sunday. Love the sweet face and the yummy lips! I’m a total lips girls, even in RL it’s my favorite feature on my face, hopefully Rebeca will do a full release of this skin, that would be fantastic!!

The color Orange is the last color then we’ll be doing a post of 15 of our favorite 52 WoC posts and the challenge is officially over. I think I’m a bit sad!

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
Sometimes I get review packs or gifts packs from different designers out of no where. I don’t ask for anything, but if someone wants to gift me, then I am more than appreciative, unfortunately with my schedule lately, it’s been hard for me to get through everything and blog all the things I like. Be patient with me please!! Sometimes I get things that aren’t necessarily my style, I do feel bad for not featuring it, but I am not the be all say all, just because it doesn’t fit me doesn’t mean it won’t be loved by others.

Avale dropped a few things on me this past week, it’s a new store to me. I really like this Montreal top here, it’s completely prim and I thought it would be easy to fit my shape. My body is a bit thicker, but my bustline is tiny, when I stretch it out, it doesn’t seem to fit my boobs very well. Yes my shape is slightly weird lol, maybe I should up my teensy chest! After maneuvering for a few mins longer, I finally got the perfect fit and I must say, it’s very cute! I dig the fallen straps, very sexy and perfect for teasing your boy. I paired it with a high waist skirt, because for some reason, the top screamed for a high waist skirt. I still have to look through the huge gift bag I got, but there were some cute night wear that I glanced at briefly and possibly will use for a shoot at another date. I knew I’d be late for this week’s Color Challenge: Mulberry, I was out-of-town this past weekend, so I waited til I got back to figure out what to wear. I’m wearing a Fri.Day freebie I picked up when they first opened 2 years ago, and never wore til now, funny huh? It doesn’t quite match the true mulberry color, but since I was pressed for time, it matched enough for me! I can’t believe it’s Week 50 and with only 2 more weeks to go, week 51 is fast approaching and I am determined to be on time for it. Cream is the color, I know I have stuff for it, I just have to find it!
